Bishop Matthew Lloyd, Jr

Senior Pastor

Bishop Matthew Lloyd, Jr. has served as the Senior Pastor of Fisher Street Church of God In Christ, International since May 1, 2015. A native of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Bishop Lloyd has been actively involved in ministry since early childhood. God anointed him to teach His Word through Sunday School and midweek Bible study, shaping his passion for sound doctrine and practical Christian living.
Throughout his ministerial journey, Bishop Lloyd has held numerous leadership roles, including President of the Young People Willing Workers (YPWW) and Assistant Pastor, appointed in May 2006. He currently serves in leadership capacities at the local, state, and national levels within the Church of God In Christ, International.
Bishop Lloyd is deeply committed to winning souls for Jesus Christ. His preaching and teaching focus on salvation, spiritual growth, and real-life application of God’s Word. He believes strongly in the transforming power of the Holy Ghost and ministers under God’s
anointing, leading individuals to experience redemption, restoration, revelation, and demonstration. His primary focus in ministry is always to glorify God.
Bishop Lloyd earned a Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management from Arkansas State University. In addition to pastoral leadership, Bishop Lloyd serves as CEO of Sure Foundation, a 501(c)(3) outreach ministry of Fisher Street Church of God In Christ, International. Sure Foundation serves individuals who are unhoused or at risk and operates from the Hope House located at 111 North Fisher Street. The Lord gave Bishop Lloyd the name Sure Foundation with the understanding that Jesus Christ is the Sure Foundation, and the ministry is committed to fulfilling the mandate of Matthew Chapter 25.
Under Sure Foundation is Back On Track (BOT), a program serving at-risk children, teens, and young adults, including individuals involved in or at risk of entering the legal system. BOT also offers reentry support for those transitioning back into society after incarceration.
Bishop Lloyd and his wife, First Lady Kimberly Lloyd, are the proud parents of three children—Keith, Kendrick, and Gabrielle—and the loving grandparents of five grandchildren. Together, they are also the owners of Secure Foundation Counseling, PLLC, providing professional mental health treatment and support. His vision for Fisher Street is a Total Man Ministry addressing the body, spirit, and mind through the love of Jesus Christ.

Lady Kimberly Lloyd

First Lady

First Lady Kimberly Lloyd is a native of Prentiss, Mississippi. After relocating to Jonesboro, Arkansas, she became a faithful member of Fisher Street Church of God In Christ, International, where she met her husband, Bishop Matthew Lloyd, Jr. They were married in 1996 and are the proud parents of three children—Keith, Kendrick, and Gabrielle—and the
loving grandparents of five grandchildren.
Professionally, First Lady Lloyd is a licensed nurse and serves with dedication in the Jonesboro Public School System. Her compassion, professionalism, and commitment to care are evident in both her vocation and ministry.
As First Lady, Kimberly Lloyd exemplifies humility, faithfulness, and quiet strength. She is a devoted woman of prayer and spiritual discipline, often engaging in extended periods of fasting as she seeks the direction of the Lord. She oversees the Women’s Department at Fisher Street Church of God In Christ, International and willingly serves in any area of ministry where there is a need.
Known for her caring heart and servant spirit, First Lady Lloyd is deeply committed to supporting her family, strengthening the church, and ministering to others with love, wisdom, and grace.
